Build ipa file

I try to create an .ipa file on a Mac.
Now I am in the Xcode tool and got the error “Failed to create provisioning profle” when I want to make “Prodcut–>Archive”.
I want to add a profile but under “Signing Identities” there are no “Create” Button.
For the active scheme I choose “Generic IOS device”.

Please help.
