Ionic 4 custom grid breakpoints

If you search the ionic codebase --ion-grid-breakpoints doesn’t exist.

I’m trying to modify the default breakpoints for my application. It looks like these breakpoint variables used to exist: https://github.com/ionic-team/ionic/issues/14562

Does anyone have any ideas on how to customise the default breakpoints?
