I’ve tried to get help from the Ionic support team, Ionic 3 repo, Capacitor repo, Google maps and Mapbox support teams, Stack Overflow and the Ionic forum: Not one person has offered to help so I’m stuck - and now I’m willing to pay somebody to help me.
I don’t think the bug is just the Ionic framework, or Capacitor, or the maps SDK - I suspect the bug occurs when you use the maps SDK in the Ionic 3 framework and enable Capacitor. This is why nobody wants to offer support - and I can’t afford to upgrade to Ionic Enterprise (which is what they told me to do to get help)!
If you think you can help, please message me. Ideally you have:
- Experience with Ionic 3
- Experience with Capacitor (the bug might be related to Capacitor)
- Experience with Google Maps Javascript SDK v3 or Mapbox GL JS SDK (doesn’t matter which I use, the same error occurs so it’s unlikely to be an issue with these)
- Ability to build & test on a real iOS device
