Animation of removal from

In relation to this 2 years old post (List item remove animation), I would like to ask if there’s any built-in feature to animate item removal from classic ion-list in Ionic 4.

To be more concrete, I’m looking for animation, where the removed item simply fades-out and then the rest of the list items below slowly move up, to take it’s place. Feel free to suggest any work-arounds in case there’s no built-in way to achieve similar effect.
