Appflow - Capacitor. Check for update from app

This is something I have been struggling with. I am looking for a way to check if there is an update available for downloading and display the current deploy id from the app.

Things I have tried but didn’t work:

1. window.IonicCordova - promises won’t resolve at all

2. @ionic-native/pro - ERROR TypeError: Cannot read property 'info' of undefined

Is there any other way to make this check?
