thanks to Ionic I was able to create a proof-of-concept app to navigate (zoom&move) a map on smartphone without touching the screen by using the phone's accelerometer.

The goal of such a touchless user interface is to ease the use of smartphone during winter hiking/crosscountry-skiing trips when one is wearing gloves (at least in regions where winter can be tough).

I had the opportunity to test it on Android platform only, if anyone is interested in playing with it on another smartphone platform, I would be glad if you share your experience.
