Trying to find the recommended way to set an app badge with a count in Ionic 8. The older native plugin is no longer supported. I can’t find anything in the v8 docs that explains it. I saw something in the push notification capacitor plugin about app badges, but push notifications seem like overkill for just setting a badge count for the app.
Anyone have recommendations?
